وكلام ابن دقيق العيد نقله السيوطي في رسالته الإسفار عن قلم الأظفار (ص ٤١) ملخصا، ودونك نص كلام ابن دقيق العيد في شرح الإلمام (٣/٣٢٨) بتمامه: الثالثة والثلاثون: مقتضى الإطلاق أن يحصل تأدي المأمور بمطلق القص دون اعتبار هيئة مخصوصة، وقد ذكر في هيئة قصها على وجه مخصوص ما لا أصل له في الشريعة، ولا دليل يدل عليه، وقد نظم في ذلك أبيات، وذكرها ثم قال: وذكرت هيئة أخرى، وهذا كله لا يجوز أن يعتقد مستحبا، لأن الاستحباب حكم شرعي لا بد أن يستند قائله إلى دليل، وليس استسهال ذلك بصواب، بل هذا التقييد بما لا دليل عليه يجب صون الشريعة المطهرة عن قبوله. الرابعة والثلاثون: وذكر آخر أن المستحب أن يبدأ باليدين قبل الرجلين، وهذا نريد دليلا عليه، فإن الإطلاق لا يدل عليه.
